Now as I mentioned briefly in this post, I am moving house at the start of next month. I had previously moved out, when I was at university, into a shared house with a group of my friends in my second year. However after graduating in 2014 I moved back in with my parents where I have been ever since.
At the end of august Lee moved into my parents house with me so we could save up for a deposit for our own place. At the start of December, the week of our two year anniversary in fact, we viewed a flat and instantly fell in love. We paid our deposit and were given our move in date for the end of December. However circumstances changed and we have to wait a little longer, but should now be getting our keys on the 5th of February (fingers crossed)
This extra month or so not only has given us more time to save up more money, but also given me a chance to explore the internet for all the interior inspiration one person can absorb. Over the past few months I’ve been added bits and bobs to my Pinterest and I thought I’d share a few of these items with you today.
The flat itself is all neutral lucky us! Neutral is what I like as it gives you a chance to add a real personal touch just through accessories and furniture. Naturally i’ve gravitated to the colour scheme with lots of black, white and grey. Then adding elements of interest with copper homeware, pops of mint and lots and lots of plants. Its safe to say I can’t wait for us to buy all the ‘boring’ bits and bobs so I can start making our new home look beautiful.
