It’s official, I have fallen in love with a jacket and I don’t know if I can survive without it in my life. This Zara faux leather biker jacket popped up on my radar recently and it’s inspired me to create some springtime outfits featuring pops of pink. If you can’t tell already I’m a huge lover of stripes and it’s my favourite pattern to team with statement jackets and this striped tee would look perfect teamed with a cream pinafore dress, these silver platform trainers and this super sparkly cross-body bag for a fun springtime look.
Now, whenever I’ve worn stripes I’ve always opted for the classic horizontal style of a Breton stripe, but since seeing the most perfect Whistles shirt at the recent Intu Metro Centre summer fashion event vertical stripes have become my new favourite thing. This black and white striped shirt with a pop of pinky coral which is great to jazz up a basic pair of black skinnies, which I basically live in these days. Typically in Britain, the weather at the moment can be a little hit and miss at this time of the year where its too warm for a coat but too cold to not wear something, so this waterfall linen jacket is a must have in my wardrobe right now. With the addition of these AMAZING Charlotte Olympia kitten trainers and this gorgeous blush pink cross body bag I think I’ve found my ideal spring outfit.
