Now as I mentioned briefly in this post, I am moving house at the start of next month. I had previously moved out, when I was at university, into a shared house with a group of my friends in my second year. However after graduating in 2014 I moved back in with my parents where I have been ever since. At the end of august Lee moved into my parents house with me so we could save up for a deposit for our own place. At the start of December, the week of our two year anniversary in fact, we…

Review: The Book of Lost Things

One of my aims for my blog in 2016 is to make it more personal and more about me. Yes theres the side of me that loves make up and clothes and that will always be a big part of my personality. A while a go now I was invited along to the Station Hotel in Town for an evening with American skincare brand Murad. I must admit I didn’t know all too much about the brand, I’d recognised the name after hearing it mentioned on youtube and the likes. But that was pretty much my knowledge on them. At the event we learnt that it all began, and how founder and dermatologist Dr Howard Murad noticed a gap in the market whilst treating patients and began devising skincare that answered to real problems his patients faced. At the event we were given the chance…

Books Are For Life, Not Just For Christmas.

Happy New Year!     I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year, I really enjoyed being able to have a good chunk of time off work and be able to relax without feeling guilty about it. But now its January which brings all the ‘2016 Goals’ and ‘What I Got For Christmas Posts’ which are my absolute favourites to read – hello miss nosey. I did consider doing a ‘What I Got For Christmas’ post, however my bedroom is currently full of cardboard boxes and i’ve packed a lot of my bits and bobs away as I’m…
